When reports started coming in about truckloads of border wall being shipped away from the South border, it looked like the Biden administration was trying to “stick it to the voters”. Texas govt. officials looked to buy the sections at auction to donate back, but it turns out the sections being hauled away were mostly junk.

“There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States,” Mayorkas continued.”
Opinion: It initially looked like the current administration was trying to thwart border wall construction by the new incoming administration, an attempt that would have been futile at best and would have only wasted taxpayer dollars. But it actually looks like they are trying to do the right thing and support what they know is coming, what they know needs to happen.
