Daily Criminal Illegal Alien Arrests Tripled Under Trump in First Week

In 2024, the average daily number of arrests by ICE was 223.

In the first week of the Trump Administration, it’s at 710 and rising.

Detainers Lodged are also on the rise, with 530 per day versus 410 under Biden. These are formal requests for local law enforcement to hold prisoners so they can be turned over to ICE.

Although the gap in detainers is small, it has been on the rise, more than doubling since the first few days Trump took office.
